Germula is born

A service-station stop on a long journey home in the ’90s gave us Gamula, for reasons nobody can explain.
I’d had a few gigs with the band. It was all small-time stuff, but one particular journey home was where Germlua was born.
We’d been at a gig with our old friend Mark Mulleur. Everybody got back into the van, and we had a long journey home ahead of us, so we stopped off at a service station.
Back in the ’90s, it was known that things were quite easy to cough aquire items from service stations. We had Pepperami we had Men Only, we had Razzle.
And for no reason whatsoever, Mark, God bless him, turned round and said:
Pete, you are Germula
I still don’t know why. Nobody knows. But Gamula was born.
